What do I get when I book 35mmgirlstudios for a portrait booth?

We create a space where guests can show up, strike a pose and capture the joy of the day in their own way. It’s part photo booth, part art experience, depending on your needs, a walk-in art installation primed for taking timeless portraits to commemorate your event. Whether you go glam, playful, or candid, portrait studios are a modern way to celebrate your community and capture everyone in their best light.  

How do I get my photos?

Regardless of the tier you opt to go for, from standard to the most elaborate, you will receive edited files via dropbox link within 1-2 weeks of your event. I offer the option for 4x6 post card size images that can be printed on the spot, or my personal favorite instant polaroid style photos. With the instant print outs you get the best of both worlds, professional lighting, a digital file and the nostalgia of watching a physical print develop in real time.


What kind of branding do you offer?

I collaborate with local artists to craft custom branded backdrops suited for your event. We also work with local florists and artists to craft a unique scene that will elevate the imagery from your event. Backdrop scenes are tailored to match the theme of your event, this can include props or different accent pieces to provide a unique experience to visitors. 

Do I need a custom backdrop or branding?

We offer a simple package where we can bring a minimal backdrop setup with no custom branding and your choice of seamless color. This is our most standard option.

How long does it take you to set up and break down?

It takes one hour to ensure proper setup of an event. This ensures that lighting is ready to go, and allows time to troubleshoot. Breakdown takes less time, roughly about 30 minutes.

What do you require from us as event planners?

In order to operate an event, I’ll need a blueprint of 6x6 minimum space, in order to accommodate light stands, backdrop, mobile shooting cart and to allow space for group portraits. We’ll also need an accessible and designated space to charge and store equipment while the event is happening. Additionally, we need to be included in any emails with load-in information or relevant event information.
